MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will inspect progress of the harvesting campaign in eastern parts of the country, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
In the afternoon on 16 August Alexander Lukashenko continued a series of working trips around the country. Several days ago the head of state was informed in detail and personally inspected progress of the harvesting campaign in Belarus’ southwest. Now eastern parts of the country are in the center of Alexander Lukashenko’s attention.
On 16 August the Belarus president used a helicopter to fly over the eastern part of Minsk Oblast and most of the districts in Mogilev Oblast in order to take a look at harvesting operations from up high. Within the next few days Alexander Lukashenko is expected to personally visit and have a look at the situation in fields and agricultural companies of these regions. Trips to the fields of Vitebsk Oblast have been planned as well.
