MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Significant enhancement of the Belarusian-Ukrainian cooperation reaffirms the countries’ eagerness to preserve a high level of mutually beneficial partnership. I value our relations of trust and openness allowing us to maintain effective dialogue,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state is convinced that the successful implementation of joint projects will open up new opportunities for Belarus and Ukraine and will promote the wellbeing of the two nations.
