MINSK, 4 August (BelTA) – I am absolutely against the presence of any troops in Ukraine, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with non-state mass media on 4 August, BelTA has learned.
"I am absolutely against the presence of any troops in Ukraine, be it Russian or American, be it mercenaries from Poland, Sweden or other countries. I do know that they are there. I know this not from Russian media,” said the Belarusian leader.
According to the President, today we see an information war, a confrontation of two countries in the information field, and Russia seems to be a stronger player. “I am well informed about the situation in Donbass, Crimea and Ukraine in general,” the head of state added.
