MINSK, 13 March (BelTA) – State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Stanislav Zas met with Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev on 13 March, representatives of the State Secretariat of the Security Council of Belarus told BelTA.
The two officials exchanged views on the development of the military and political situation in the world and on western borders of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. They also agreed approaches to counteracting common security threats of Belarus and Russia.
Apart from that, the sides discussed the state of cooperation between the staffs of the security councils. Prospects of further bilateral interaction were sketched out.
Regular consultations between experts of the Belarusian and Russian security councils also took place.
