MINSK, 26 September (BelTA) – Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov has gone on a two-day working visit to Russia’s Novosibirsk, BelTA has learned.
Andrei Kobyakov is expected to hold talks with Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy in the Siberian Federal District Sergei Menyailo and Novosibirsk Oblast Governor Vladimir Gorodetsky.
The premier is also set to visit the Siberian Aeronautical Research Institute named after S. A. Chaplygin, the Medical Technological Park, and OOO Sibelektroprivod.
In January-July 2017 the trade between Belarus and Novosibirsk Oblast totaled $105.8 million, up 44.3% as against the same period in 2016. The export made up $81.6 million (up 39.9%), the import reached $24.2 million (up 61.1%). Belarus posted a trade surplus of $57.4 million. Belarus’ main exports include tractors and tractive units, trucks, sugar, component parts for trucks and tractors, products from ferrous metals, computing machinery.
