MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Moldova have discussed new investment projects in healthcare and pharmacy, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.
The matters were discussed at the meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy and Moldova’s Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Chirill Gaburici. The meeting was also attended by Belarus’ Healthcare Minister Valery Malashko. The parties talked over fundamental and applied scientific research in the healthcare.
Earlier, Valery Malashko held a meeting with Moldova’s Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection of Moldova Svetlana Cebotari. They agreed to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in providing medical assistance, training and enhancing the qualifications of medical personnel, the circulation of medicines, medical products and medical equipment.
The official delegation of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry also visited Moldova’s Institute of Oncology. Deputy Director of N.N. Alexandrov National Cancer Centre of Belarus Sergei Krasny told the counterparts about the organization of the oncologic services in the country.
There are plans to sign a memorandum of cooperation between Belarus’ Belpharmprom Holding Company and Moldova’s Farmaprim.
