MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) - Belarus has established diplomatic relations with the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit to Cuba Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevgeny Shestakov also held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis Mark Brantley. The parties signed a joint communique on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis is a two-island country in the West Indies. Located in the Leeward Islands chain of the Lesser Antilles, it is the smallest sovereign state in the Americas, in both area and population.
