Yosef Shagal: Visa abolition to boost Israel-Belarus tourism cooperation

VITEBSK, 11 November (BelTA) – Visa abolition will give a powerful impetus to tourism development between Israel and Belarus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Belarus Yosef Shagal said as he met with Vitebsk Oblast Governor Alexander Kosinets, BelTA has learnt.

According to the diplomat, there are a lot of people in Israel of the Belarusian descent. Many would like to visit this country, including for tourism purposes. Representatives of the Jewish diaspora in Belarus show similar wishes of visiting Israel.
