Stephane Ravoire wishes France had events like Minsk Christmas Tournament

MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – Stephane Ravoire, the best player of the Belarus-France match at the Christmas Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament in Minsk, said with regret that events like the Christmas Tournament are not held in France. The player made this statement after the match on 3 January, BelTA has learnt.

“This international tournament was organized exceptionally well. I am convinced that the forthcoming ice hockey championship will be conducted on a very high level. Unfortunately, no large-scale amateur competitions are held in France, therefore I am happy to play in Minsk and be part of this tournament,” Stephane Ravoire said. He noted that his friends from the French national team had already discussed the forthcoming ice hockey championship in Minsk with him. They have no doubts that the tournament will be exciting and challenging. Stephane Ravoire noted that the French national team is looking forward to coming to Minsk for the ice hockey world championship.

Belarus defeated France (16:2) at the Group A match of the 10th Christmas Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament for the prizes of the President of Belarus in Minsk on 3 January.
