Mozambique counts on Belarus' aid in economy development

MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Mozambique Alberto Vaquina expects that the level of the Mozambican economy will be increased via cooperation with Belarus. Alberto Vaquina made the relevant statement as he met with Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich on 22 July, BelTA has learned.

“At present Mozambique is at the peak of its economic development. We hope and are confident that the Belarusian side will help us reach even greater results in economic development,” said Alberto Vaquina.

Belarus’ experience in various branches of economy primarily in the areas Mozambique prioritizes will contribute to reaching that goal. In particular, the Mozambican side expects that the experience of Belarusian colleagues will help advance the level of agricultural manufacturing.

“We are also very glad about the opportunities that open up before our specialists regarding the enhancement of their educational level in Belarus,” noted Alberto Vaquina. In his words, on the whole the government of the Republic of Mozambique will do their best to implement the projects that were discussed in Minsk on 22 July.

The Prime Minister of Mozambique is convinced that the agreements that had been reached will surely contribute to the further advancement of the bilateral relations as well as the development of cultural ties between the two nations.
