Lukashenko outlines key national values for Belarusians

MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko called for preserving and multiplying such profound values as love for one’s homeland, respect for the hard work of farmers, and a peaceful sky overhead during a state awards ceremony at the Savushkin Product facility in Bereza on 31 July, BelTA has learned.

Speaking about the achievements of the domestic dairy industry, the head of state expressed confidence that this is not the peak, but a new launching pad for future plans that will definitely be fulfilled. “Otherwise, why are we making them?” the president said.

”But no matter what goals we set for ourselves, no matter what modern technologies and robotic systems we implement, the foundation of any success is the working person,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.

The president specifically recognized the contribution of families who support their working members and raise children to dream of continuing the labor dynasty. “I was pleased to hear when the head of your enterprise said, ‘People are even coming to work for us as milkers.’ That’s wonderful! In that case, we won’t even need the milking robots we are manufacturing,” he added.

“It is vital for us to preserve and build upon these profound values: love for our native land, respect for the hard work of farmers, and of course, what matters most to us today – a peaceful sky overhead. If we protect this peaceful sky, we will continue to live and prosper,” he said.
