MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants, guests and visitors of the Belarusian Agro-Industrial Week, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.

“Our agriculture, processing industry make strides on the way of innovative development based on technical and technological upgrade of production, higher yield of crops and productivity of animal husbandry, preservation and raising of soil fertility. The specialized exhibition of cutting-edge achievements of the agricultural and technical science, agricultural machine-building is an important event that will prompt the use of innovations in practice,” the head of state emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko pointed out with satisfaction the growing interest in such events, active participation of both Belarusian and foreign companies and organizations in them.

The head of state expressed confidence that within the framework of the forum the participants will share experience, sign mutually beneficial contracts, take important measures to promote progressive cooperation.
