Fu Ying: Most comfortable conditions for Chinese business in Belarus

MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – Belarus has created the most comfortable conditions for Chinese business, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China Fu Ying said as she met with Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Tozik, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Government.

Ms Fu Ying praised the pace of development of the Belarusian-Chinese relations and the support provided by the Belarusian Government to Chinese companies in Belarus. No other country has created such comfortable conditions for Chinese business as Belarus. The Belarusian Government does its upmost to promote joint projects, said Ms Fu Ying. She expressed confidence that by joint efforts the Belarusian and Chinese companies will be able to raise to a new growth level. There are two factors: the formation of the Single Economic Space and the development of the Silk Road economic zone where Belarus is a key link. According to Ms Fu Ying, Belarus’ main advantages for Chinese partners are the political stability and sustainability.

During the meeting the parties exchanged the information on the trade and economic and investment cooperation, proposals for revitalization of these ties, and discussed some issues. “The participants of the meeting agreed that, at the present stage of development of relations, it is necessary to strengthen the role of direct investment, to enable market mechanisms of resource distribution and to provide continuing attention and support for the large joint strategic projects,” the press service noted.
