MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) - The Belarusian government has been persistently working to create an attractive investment climate in the country, Vladimir Salamatov, the Director of the International Trade Center, the chairman of the committee for economic integration of the countries of the CIS and SCO at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said at a plenary meeting of the SES Business Forum, BelTA learned.
"The Belarusian government has been persistently working to create an attractive investment climate in the country. The WTO accession talks have been resumed and intensified; business relationships are being built with the European Union. Certainly, business and other Customs Union countries welcome this," said Vladimir Salamatov.
“We believe all necessary procedures on forming the Eurasian Economic Union will be completed by 1 January 2015,” he said. In addition, exceptions that exist in the legal framework of the Customs Union will removed, and we will switch to a unified system of regulation of the freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and labor," said Vladimir Salamatov. This is the basis to move forward more actively towards closer partnership.
