MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) – Nobody from the West will be able to break the brotherly relations that exist within the framework of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. State Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Dmitry Mezentsev made the statement on the air of the Belarusian TV channel ONT, BelTA has learned.

Dmitry Mezentsev said: “It makes one happy and it means a lot that the talk about the future economic, social, and political development of Belarus is described as a future together with the brotherly country of Russia, relations with which nobody from the West will be able to break.”

The official noted that Belarus and Russia determine their ways, steps towards each other, and guidelines on their own.

Dmitry Mezentsev said: “We have different passports but we have absolutely the same rights on the labor market, the right to come for a visit, the right to get medical treatment, get new education, and feel as citizens of the fatherland that stretches from Brest to Vladivostok.”
