WTA rankings: Sabalenka keeps the lead, Azarenka and Sasnovich slip two notches

MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka continues to lead the WTA rankings with a total of 10,683 points, BelTA has learned.

Second-placed American Coco Gauff has 6, 863 points. Yesterday, Aryna Sabalenka was off to a strong start at the French Open defeating Russia's Kamilla Rakhimova 6-1, 6-0. Former world number one Victoria Azarenka of Belarus slipped two positions before the start of Roland Garros and is now ranked 75th. Azarenka will face Belgian Yanina Wickmayer (1140th) in the Round of 128 in Paris. Another Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich, who is now ranked 105th, has also dropped by two places
