WBA reinstates Belarusian, Russian boxers in rankings

MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – Belarusian and Russian boxers have been reinstated in the WBA rankings, BelTA learned from the official website of the World Boxing Association.

The decision was taken following the discussion of the issue by all the members of the Championships Committee and Ratings Committee of the World Boxing Association.

The statement issued by the organization stresses that “for the sake of the sport and in favor of the careers of the fighters, they will be able to return to the rankings and fight for WBA titles”.
