GRODNO, 11 September (BelTA) – Belarus can be placed among the top 10 tourist destinations. The Chinese blogger Xuan Tang shared the opinion with BelTA.
A fact-finding tour of Chinese bloggers with millions of followers continues in Belarus. The journey began in Grodno Oblast where guests from China visited Pripyatsky National Park and walked along a 5km ecological trail through raised bogs and picturesque forests to see unique Polesie landscapes and learn about the rich flora and fauna. The bloggers with an audience of millions also visited the Mir Castle Complex and the Nesvizh National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve. They got acquainted with Grodno, its key places of interest as well as the city’s surroundings with unique nature and architecture. For example, today guests from China are visiting the Augustow Canal – an outstanding hydraulic engineering structure dating back to the first half of the 19th century and a true masterpiece of engineering thought, which is rightfully called the pearl of the Neman River area. The bloggers will also visit the Palace and Park Ensemble Volovich Manor in Svyatsk.
Ten top Chinese travel bloggers have got a lot of impressions after several days in Belarus. They say that the country surprised and won them with hospitality, the taste of Belarusian dishes as well as unique places they have managed to visit.
“I have visited many European countries, but I can place Belarus in the top 10. For example, very beautiful landscapes open up in the city of Grodno. You have very beautiful castles, beautiful churches. Grodno is a very clean city, and if you dive a little deeper, I like that many things have a deep meaning,” Xuan Tang said, adding that Belarusians and residents of Grodno Oblast in particular are very friendly and responsive to guests.

The blogger shared that before coming to Belarus she knew little about the country, and what she saw impressed her. “In fact, the amount of information about your country was limited. I knew little. But I know that Chinese university students come here to study,” she said. “Here we saw very beautiful buildings. We rode a narrow-gauge railway. This is very interesting for us.”
“I think all the sights of Belarus will attract Chinese tourists to come to you and learn about your country,” Xuan Tang added, emphasizing that she will definitely share what she saw via her TikTok accounts that focuses on tourism and travels.
The fact-finding tour for vloggers started on 7 September. It was organized by the National Tourism Agency with the support of the Embassy of Belarus in China and OAO ASB Belarusbank.
The National Tourism Agency prepared a rich one-week program for Chinese bloggers, which could form the basis of a new tourism product in the future. The blogger tour for opinion leaders from China is the first major project of the National Tourism Agency to promote Belarus’ tourism potential abroad and attract foreign travelers. In the near future similar tours are supposed to take place for representatives of other friendly countries.
