Two medals for Belarus at Karate1 Premier League in Moscow

MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Belarusian karate judokas won two medals at Karate1 Premier League in Moscow, BelTA has learned.

Aliaksei Vodchyts claimed silver in the Male Kumite +84kg. Gogita Arkania of Georgia took gold. Bronze went to Azerbaijan's Asiman Gurbanli and Rob Timmermans of Curacao.

Anton Isakau took bronze in the  Male Kumite 84kg. Another bronze in the event went to Azerbaijan’s Panah Abdullayev. Nabil Ech-Chaabi of Morocco took silver. Egypt’s Youssef Badawy of Egypt secured the champion title.

Maryia Azarava (Female Kumite 61kg) and Maryia Aliakseyeva (Female Kumite 68kg) placed fifth.

Competing at Karate1 Premier League in Moscow were about 400 athletes from 49 countries.
