Soligorsk to host Marathon of Unity

SOLIGORSK, 3 January (BelTA) - The Marathon of Unity in Soligorsk will celebrate the uniqueness of the region and the achievements of its people, Chairman of Soligorsk District Executive Committee Anatoly Lodyga told the media, BelTA has learned.
The miners' capital of Belarus - the city of Soligorsk – will be hosting the nationwide social and cultural campaign Marathon of Unity on 3-4 January.
“It is a great honor to wrap up the Marathon of Unity in Minsk Oblast. We tried our best to keep all the venues emotionally charged, to preserve the atmosphere of unity and pride for the achievements that have been made in our district. It is of great importance to show it both the visitors and residents of Soligorsk,” Anatoly Lodyga said.
In 2024, Soligorsk District celebrated its 100th anniversary. “In 2023, our district was inscribed on the National Board of Honor. We are proud of our achievements, our people, whose quality labor gives quality results. These are Belaruskali and its potash fertilizers, light industry enterprises Kupalinka, Kalinka, private enterprises producing equipment used in the potash industry, and agriculture, which is increasing its output. This is the uniqueness of Soligorsk District,” he emphasized.
