Sabalenka remains 7th in WTA rankings

MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus has retained her 7th spot in the updated WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.

Aryna Sabalenka now holds 3,470 points. Victoria Azarenka goes 21st with 1,951 points, Aliaksandra Sasnovich is up one spot at 29th place with 1,521 points.

WTA Top Ten:

1. Iga Swiatek (Poland) - 10,365
2. Ons Jabeur (Tunis) – 5,090
3. Anett Kontaveit (Estonia) – 4,300
4. Paula Badosa (Spain) – 3,980
5. Jessica Pegula (USA) - 3,501
6. Maria Sakkari (Greece)- 3,480
7. Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) -3,470
8. Coco Gauff (USA) – 3,047
9. Simona Halep (Romania) – 3,025
10. Caroline Garcia (France) – 2,930.

In the ATP rankings the best-placed Belarusian is Ilya Ivashka (59th with 775 points). Egor Gerasimov is 179th (297).
