Sabalenka reaches Miami Open quarterfinals

MINSK, 25 March (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number one Aryna Sabalenka took a solid, 6-4, 6-4, win over Miami Open reigning champion Danielle Collins of the United States to move to the quarterfinals, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian will next play World No.9 Zheng Qinwen of China. At the ongoing tournament Aryna Sabalenka defeated Bulgaria’s world number 64 Viktoriya Tomova and World No.102 Elena-Gabriela Ruse of Romania.

The total prize money in the 2025 Miami Open, which is to be over on 30 March, is $8.9 million. The winner will earn $1.2 million and 1,000 points.
