Sabalenka moves up to 4th in WTA

MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus went up one spot to 4th in the latest WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.

Last week ahead of the tournament in Charleston the Belarusian best tennis player was 5th and moved up one spot after reaching the round of Last 16. She now hold 4,711 points. Victoria Azarenka goes 18th with 2,281 points. Aliaksandra Sasnovich is 51st with 1,123 points.

Belarus’ Ilya Ivashka goes 44th with 1,109 points in the ATP rankings, Egor Gerasimov is 152nd with 402 points. This week Ilya Ivashka will play at the ATP-1000 tournament in Monte Carlo. The Belarusian will open his run against Italy’s world number 26 Lorenzo Sonego.
