MINSK, 22 August (BelTA) - Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus returned to the 6th position in the latest WTA Rankings, BelTA has learned.

A week ago the best Belarusian tennis player was 7th. After reaching the Cincinnati semifinal the Belarusian moved up to the 6th spot. The Belarusian currently holds 3,470 points. Victoria Azarenka dropped four spots to 26th with 1,841 points. Another Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich remained 36th with 1,341 points.

In the ATP rankings the best-placed Belarusian is Ilya Ivashka (51st with 915 points), Egor Gerasimov is 168th (317).
