MINSK, 13 September (BelTA) – Belarusians Klim Gnedtchik and Alisa Kvashneuskaya have claimed another gold medal at the 2026 European U15 Championships in Portugal, BelTA has learned.
On the final competition day, the leaders of the Belarusian U15 team won the mixed relay. The second-placed pair from Poland finished 20 seconds behind the Belarusians, while the Turkish team, which rounded out the top three, was 40 seconds back. Fifth place among 23 pairs went to Belarusians Yauheniya Mazuryna and Aliaksei Karzhavin. In late August in Spain, Klim Gnedtchik and Alisa Kvashneuskaya became U15 world champions in the mixed relay.
From Portugal, Klim Gnedtchik will take home four golds, including team events, and Alisa Kvashneuskaya three. In total, at the 2026 European U15 Championships, Belarusian athletes won six gold medals out of a possible seven. The only event where they failed to finish first was the girls’ relay, where our athletes took silver.
