Over 6.3m Belarusians now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

MINSK, 15 July (BelTA) – Over 6.480 million people in Belarus have got the first shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, of them over 6.395 million have completed the vaccination process, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

Over 892,200 people completed the full vaccination series in Brest Oblast, over 789,300 in Vitebsk Oblast, over 972,900 in Gomel Oblast, over 693,200 in Grodno Oblast, over 690,000 in Mogilev Oblast, over 980,400 in Minsk Oblast,  and over 1.266 million in the city of Minsk.

Around 111,000 employees of organizations and institutions have completed the vaccination process.

Over 148,800 teenagers aged 12-17 have received one shot of the vaccine, of them more than 143,200 children have been fully vaccinated.

Thus, 69.3% of the country’s population have received one dose of the vaccine, 68.4% have been fully vaccinated.

Belarusians are also getting booster shots of the vaccine, with 16% of the population having completed it so far.
