Over 5.77m Belarusians now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) – Over 6.191 million people in Belarus have got the first shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, of them over 5.770 million have completed the vaccination process, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

Over 824,600 people completed the full vaccination series in Brest Oblast, over 748,400 in Vitebsk Oblast, over $845,900 in Gomel Oblast, over 642,400 in Grodno Oblast, over 885,400 in Minsk Oblast, over 620,900 in Mogilev Oblast, and over 1.09 million in the city of Minsk.

Over 107,400 employees of organizations and institutions have completed the vaccination process.

Over 109,300 teenagers aged 12-17 have received one shot of the vaccine, of them more than 82,400 children have been fully vaccinated.

Thus, 66.2% of the country’s population have received one dose of the vaccine, 61.7% have been fully vaccinated.

Belarusians are also getting booster shots of the vaccine, with 7.18% of the population having completed it so far.
