Over 3.86m Belarusians fully vaccinated against COVID-19

MINSK, 6 January (BelTA) – More than 4.915 million people in Belarus have got the first shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, of them over 3.861 million have been fully vaccinated, BelTA learned from the press service of the Healthcare Ministry.

The regional breakdown of people who got the second shot is as follows: over 499,500 in Brest Oblast, over 429,600 in Vitebsk Oblast, over 639,100 in Gomel Oblast, over 468,900 in Grodno Oblast, over 467,900 in Mogilev Oblast, over 487,900 in Minsk Oblast, and more than 775,200 in the city of Minsk.

More than 93,400 employees of various organizations and departments have been fully vaccinated so far.

Over 3,700 teenagers aged between 12-17 have received one shot of the vaccine.

Thus, 52.6% of the population of the Republic of Belarus has received one dose of the vaccine, 41.3% has been fully vaccinated, the Healthcare Ministry informed.
