MINSK, 12 April (BelTA) - About Br16.5 million has been earned during the national clean-up day, which is Br2 million more than during the last year’s campaign, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak told the media on 12 April, BelTA has learned.

The event has drawn 2.4 million participants, the same number as it was in 2024, Anatoly Sivak added.

Today Belarus is holding a national subbotnik (clean-up day). Belarusians are landscaping and tidying up facilities and territories, historical and cultural sights, memorial complexes, places of military glory, burial places of soldiers and partisans of the Great Patriotic War.

The money earned on the national clean-up day, including at workplaces, will be used for the construction of the Belarusian National History Museum.
