VITEBSK, 16 July (BelTA) – At the opening of the International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko presented the main award of the 24th International Junior Song Contest Vitebsk to Belarusian singer Yelizaveta Tsuprik, BelTA has learned.
Yelizaveta Tsuprik scored the highest score after two days of the competition.




On the first day, the young performer sang Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz. On the second day, she took the stage with My Home, a song written especially for her by composer Valery Shmat, accompanied by the Mikhail Finberg National Academic Concert Orchestra of Belarus.
Yelizaveta Tsuprik impressed the jury with her powerful vocals. She received the highest score from every juror on both competition days.
