MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) - Iana Lebedeva of Belarus secured a victory at the first stage of the 2026 FIG Trampoline & Tumbling World Cup, which is taking place in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku, BelTA has learned.
For her routine in the individual trampoline final, Lebedeva received a score of 57.310 points. The Belarusian outperformed the silver medalist, Seljan Mahsudova from Azerbaijan, by nearly a full point, while Russia’s Mariia Mikhailova (55.740) rounded out the top three. Another Belarusian athlete, Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya, finished in seventh place among the eight finalists, which also included representatives from Turkiye and the USA.
The day before, Lebedeva was also the best in the qualification round. Last year, at the 3rd CIS Games in Azerbaijan, the Belarusian won three gold medals. At the current World Cup stage in Baku, Iana will compete in another final – the mixed synchronized trampoline event, partnering with Ivan Litvinovich.
