MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – Ilya Ivashka of Belarus climbed 13 spots in the ATP rankings to reach No.61, BelTA has learned.

The best Belarusian tennis player holds 781 points. On 17 April Ilya Ivashka will open his Barcelona Open campaign against Portugal’s world number 79 Nuno Borges.

Iga Swiatek of Poland has remained world number one in the recently published WTA rankings. Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus goes second. Victoria Azarenka is 16th with 2,237 points, Aliaksandra Sasnovich - 48th with 1,089 points. This week Aryna Sabalenka will play at the Stuttgart Open where she is to launch her run from the second round.
