MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) – The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has updated its list of Individual Neutral Athletes (AIN), BelTA has learned from the FIS press service.
Among those granted neutral status in the updated list are the top athletes from the Belarusian women’s cross-country skiing team Hanna Karaliova and Hanna Machakhina, as well as support personnel Ilya Ramanenka and Aleh Bykauskikh. Both Belarusians can now participate in FIS tournaments. The upcoming Cross-Country World Cup stage in Swiss Davos on 12-14 December will be the final opportunity to earn ranking points for qualification for the 2026 Olympic Games.
Previously, the neutral status has been granted to Belarusian freestyle skiers Hanna Huskova, Anna Derugo, Anastasiya Andryianava, Ihar Drabiankou, and Uladzislau Vazniuk, as well as alpine skier Maria Shkanova. Russian cross-country skiers Savelii Korostelev and Dariya Nepryaeva are also on the list. The list of Individual Neutral Athletes will be updated.
