Expert breaks down Alena Kucheruk’s Miss Universe outfits

MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Reigning Miss Belarus Alena Kucheruk made a dignified and striking appearance for her country at the world’s most prestigious beauty contest, Miss Universe, in Bangkok, Thailand, Director of the National Beauty School Bozhena Yeremich said in an interview with a BelTA correspondent.

All of Alena Kucheruk’s outfits were created exclusively by Belarusian designers. The national costume, crafted by Dmitry Titushkin, received special recognition from the pageant’s international organizers. The designer drew inspiration from the Belarusian coat of arms, a symbol of the nation’s cultural heritage and natural beauty.

“The dress features a stunning combination of red, green, and white, symbolizing the Belarusian flag,” noted Bozhena Yeremich.

The round crown, intricately woven from golden ears of wheat, symbolizes prosperity, unity, and the foundational role of agriculture for Belarus. Its golden hues radiate strength and abundance, reflecting the flourishing fields of Belarus.

“The key element of the national costume was the display of the Belarusian flag. In this way, we showcased our nation’s main symbols to the entire world,” emphasized the director of the National Beauty School.

The evening gown was a creation by Tatiana Yefremova and Irina Rombalskaya. Bozhena Yeremich explained that the outfit was designed to embody the strength of the Belarusian woman, with its shades deliberately chosen to represent the country’s distinctive culture.
