Belarusian women clinch second pistol silver at U21 European Championships

MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes have become medalists at the 2026 European Championship Rifle/Pistol 25/50m, BelTA has learned.

On the final day of the tournament, the athletes competed for medals in the 25m pistol women junior team event. The Belarusian trio of Aliaksandra Piatrova, Katsiaryna Ivanova, and Alina Nestsiarovich posted the top score in qualification. However, in the final, they fell to the Russian team with a score of 3-13.

A day earlier, Aliaksandra, Katsiaryna, and Alina also secured silver in the team event, Piatrova featured a different format. Additionally, Aliaksandra Piatrova claimed bronze in the individual competition. Croatia’s Osijek hosted the 2026 European Championship Rifle/Pistol 25/50m.
