MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Anastasiya Zudzilava of Belarus clinched her team’s second medal at the 2026 World Para Swimming European Championships, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Sports Ministry.
The competition is hosted by Kocaeli, Türkiye. On the second day of the tournament, Zudzilava became a medalist in the 100m breaststroke in the SB13 class (for athletes with visual impairments). The Belarusian clocked a time of 1:18.16, finishing third among 12 competitors. Earlier, Yauheni Kavalionak won bronze in the S12 100m backstroke.
Belarus’ Dzmitry Solei (S12) placed fourth in the 100m butterfly, while Maksim Vashkevich finished seventh in the same event. Dzmitry Tsikhanionak (S9) came in ninth in the 200m individual medley. The 2026 World Para Swimming European Championships in Türkiye will run through 12 September.
