Belarus remains 4th in BSWW World Ranking

MINSK, 2 September (BelTA) – Belarus has retained fourth place in the updated ranking of Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW), BelTA has learned.

Ahead of the Euroleague Superfinal, which will soon take place in Italy, the Belarusian national team holds 3,114 points. In the preliminary Group A, Belarus’ opponents will be Portugal (2nd in the world rankings), Italy (3rd), and France (36th). Group B will feature the national teams of Spain (6th), Switzerland (14th), Ukraine (25th), and Denmark (36th).

The Superfinal of the current Euroleague season will be held in Viareggio, Italy from 9 to 14 September. In the two previous seasons, the Belarusian national team won bronze medals in the Euroleague, and claimed silver in 2021.
