Belarus’ Khamutsianskaya qualifies for WTA 125 main draw in Istanbul

MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – Belarusian tennis player Daria Khamutsianskaya advanced to the main draw of the Enka Open 2026: WTA 125 tournament in Istanbul, Türkiye, with a prize pool of $115,000, BelTA has learned.

In the qualifying final, Daria Khamutsianskaya defeated China’s Ying Zhang in three sets, 1-6, 6-4, 7-5. In the opening qualifying round, the Belarusian cruised past Saumya Vig of India 6-0, 6-0.

In the opening round of the doubles event, Daria Khamutsianskaya and Daria Zelinskaya of Russia will face Ying Zhang and Yujia Huang of China. Belarusian tennis player Aliona Falei and Russia’s Polina Iatcenko will take on the American-Czech duo of Carol Lee and Vendula
Valdmannova.

In the men’s doubles tournament in Umag, Croatia, Ivan Liutarevich of Belarus and Miguel Reyes-Varela of Mexico will face Croatia’s Admir Kalender and Nino Serdarusic in the opening round.

The tournaments in Türkiye and Croatia will conclude on 19 July.
