Belarus’ COVID-19 latest: 1,991 new cases, 2,245 recoveries

MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – Belarus confirmed 1,991 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours; another 2,245 coronavirus patients were discharged from hospital, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

The nationwide coronavirus tally now stands at 610,022. A total of 584,714 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered in Belarus.

As many as 4,712 COVID-19 patients have died since the infection outbreak in Belarus.

All in all, Belarus performed 9,781,695 tests, including 34,885 tests in the past 24 hours.

More than 2,988,000 Belarusians have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Over 2,304,000 of them have already got two shots.
