Belarus’ COVID-19 latest: 1,955 new cases, 1,469 recoveries

MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – Belarus confirmed 1,955 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours; another 1,469 coronavirus patients were discharged from hospital, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

The nationwide coronavirus tally now stands at 534,104. A total of 516,030 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered in Belarus.

As many as 4,114 COVID-19 patients have died since the infection outbreak in Belarus.

All in all, Belarus performed 8,425,138 tests, including 10,387 tests in the past 24 hours.

More than 2,067,000 Belarusians have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Over 1,583,000 of them have already got two shots. Also, 425 people have been vaccinated with Sputnik Light. Thus, all in all 1,584,000 people are fully vaccinated.
