Belarus' Anna Kubareva makes W15 Astana 2025 final

MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) - Anna Kubareva of Belarus has reached the W15 Astana 2025 final, BelTA has learned.

In today's semifinal, Anna Kubareva defeated Russia's Kristina Kroitor in straight sets, 6-1, 7-5. On her way to the final, the Belarusian also secured victories against Uzbekistan's Diana Yakovleva, 6-2, 6-0, Russia's Ustinya Lekomtseva, 6-0, 6-2, and another Russian opponent Valeria Savinykh, 6-3, 4-3 (withdrawal). In the final, Anna Kubareva will face either Russia's Ekaterina Khayrutdinova or Viktoria Milovanova.

In the doubles semifinal, Anna Kubareva partnered with Russia's Ekaterina Khairutdinova defeated the Belarusian duo of Darya Khomutianskaya and Uladzislava Zverava, 6-2, 6-2. They will face Kazakhstan's Aruzhan Sagandikova and Ekaterina Dmitrichenko in the final.

The tournament in Kazakhstan's capital will be over on 17 August.
