The meeting of the organizing committee chaired by Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko was held online and brought together representatives of respective agencies and departments, as well as all regional executive committees. The participants discussed preparations for the Games, organizational and financial issues, including sports venues, accommodation and meals for participants, medical support and transportation, as well as a contest to create a visual image of the competitions - a logo and a slogan.

According to the organizing committee, the competitions are scheduled for 4-14 August 2023. The Games will be held not only in Minsk, but also in all regions of the country: each regional capital will host events in two sports. This concept will allow involving the maximum number of participants in the event. Thus, Mogilev alone is set to welcome 10-12 teams, which is about 500 participants (this includes the coaching staff and other members of delegations). The total number of participants will exceed 6,300. About 800 volunteers will be deployed around the country.

In line with preliminary plans, athletes will compete in 21 sports. For example, karate competitions (the Olimpiets sports complex) and archery competitions (the Spartak stadium) will be held in Mogilev. The opening and closing ceremonies of the Games are to be held at the Minsk-Arena sports and entertainment complex. The competitions will become a significant event for the sports community of Belarus.
