Belarus wins Olympic biathlon women’s relay in PyeongChang

The Belarusian team of Nadezhda Skardino, Irina Krivko, Dinara Alimbekova and Darya Domracheva clocked 1:12.03,4 to clinch gold in the Women’s 4x6km Relay at the 2018 Olympic Games in PyeongChang on 22 February.

Starting Nadezhda Skardino shot clean in the prone and used two spare rounds in the standing. She tagged Irina Krivko in 10th, 46.2 seconds back.

Irina Krivko needed just one spare round to make it into the top five, 20.8 seconds behind the leader.

Olympic debutant Dinara Alimbekova used three spare rounds to tag Darya Domracheva in fourth, 17.1 seconds back.

Leader of the Belarusian national team Darya Domracheva took to the leading position soon after. The Belarusian needed three spare rounds in the standing. She left the final shooting stage first and held her leadership up to the finish.

Second was the Swedish team of Linn Persson, Mona Brorsson, Anna Magnusson and Hanna Oeberg, with 12 spare rounds, 10.7 seconds back.

Bronze went to the French team of Anais Chevalier, Marie Dorin Habert, Justine Braisaz, Anais Bescond, with 14 spare rounds, 17.6 seconds back.
