One of the key tasks the R&D Center for Multifunctional Unmanned Complexes will deal with in 2017 will be making two innovative quadcopters: for high-quality Full HD surveillance and for needs of agriculture. The Belarusian drones are supposed to offer a number of tangible competitive advantages. For instance, Belarusian farmers will be able to use quadcopters to keep an eye on the fields and the crop maturation process. The drones will allow reducing the cost of dusting the crops. Drone-powered crop dusting is supposed to be much more profitable in comparison with tractors, trucks or manned aircraft.

The new Belarusian quadcopters will be able to fly 5-10km away from the flight control station beyond the operator’s vision range unlike consumer-grade drones. The multicopter for Full HD surveillance will be 1.5m in diameter. The drone for Belarusian farmers will be larger because it will have to carry cargoes.
