The Burevestnik UAV has been designed for the Emergencies Ministry. The aircraft weighs 250kg, is powered by an internal combustion engine and can fly as far as 300km away from the ground control station. The drone needs a runway but can land on any comparatively level patch of land if necessary. The Burevestnik UAV can be used for monitoring emergencies, including in areas polluted with radioactive waste.
