Verbnitsa spring festival at the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Lifestyle

The Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Lifestyle played host to the ancient spring festival Verbnitsa on 5 April. Visitors enjoyed an extensive program: the blessing of willow branches, a workshop on decorating the branches, traditional rites, and a talk about the significance and historical roots of Palm Sunday.
