Renovated exhibition of Bezdezhsky Fartushok Museum to open in 2026

A renovated exhibition at the Bezdezhsky Fartushok Museum of Folk Arts in the Drogichin District is planned to open in 2026. For now, a temporary exhibition is located in the museum’s storage facility. Visitors can learn about local traditions and folk art, view exclusive aprons, and participate in master classes. The museum will feature seven halls, one of which will reflect the historical past of Bezdezh. Special attention will be paid to the clothing characteristic of the local area. Mannequins dressed in traditional costumes will be placed against the backdrop of dioramas corresponding to the seasons. A separate hall will be dedicated to the aprons. It is planned to display around 150 of them. In total, the collection contains more than 400 aprons, and it is constantly being expanded.
