Olympics 2026: Belarus’ Safonova misses out on free program

Belarusian figure skater Viktoriia Safonova has completed her campaign at the 25th Winter Olympic Games in Italy. Twenty-nine athletes took part in the short program at the start of the women’s singles tournament. Safonova scored 54.57 points for her performance, finishing in 26th place. Our figure skater missed the qualifying cut-off by 1.07 points.

 

Four years ago at the Beijing Olympics, Viktoriia finished in 12th place overall.
