Belarusian cross-country skier Hanna Karaliova finished her run in the women’s sprint classic at the XXV Olympic Games in Italy on 10 February.
The qualification round began at 11:15 Minsk time, with 89 athletes vying for a top-thirty finish to advance to the quarterfinals. Hanna Karaliova completed the 1.5-kilometer course in 3 minutes 57.25 seconds, placing 48th. She finished eight seconds behind the athlete in the 30th, which was the final qualifying position. Sweden’s Linn Svahn (1:36.21) finished first. The elimination races are scheduled to begin at 13:45 Minsk time. Hanna Karaliova will next compete in the interval start free on 12 February.
