The premiere of Tchaikovsky's ballet "The Nutcracker" at Bolshoi Theater of Belarus

On 28 November, the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus hosted the premiere of the ballet The Nutcracker. A new interpretation of this well-known classic was presented through the bold choreography of ballet master and librettist Igor Kolb. The production team also includes conductor and Artistic Director of the theatre, People’s Artist of Bashkortostan Artyom Makarov; set designer Olga Melnik; and lighting designer, Honored Cultural Worker of Russia Irina Vtornikova. The principal roles are performed by soloists of the Belarusian ballet.
